What a snark fest! Hello, it is a DISNEY movie. It is a fantasy family story. Of COURSE it is going to be positive and uplifting. So what? Don't go. The rest of us are going to watch it first before we make a judgement. Please stop inflicting your unhappiness on the rest of us.

So, what great movie masterpieces have all you 'superior' geniuses turned out lately? What? You don't make movies? Sounds like you really have no room to talk, then. But I'm sure you'll continue with your putdowns, because that's what you do. Pretty sad. "Let's all sit around and rip this movie apart, then we can feel like hip movie critics!"

There's a great potential horror movie in this stupid looking film. A married couple, depressed because of their incapability to have children or adopt any (what will the movies excuse for that one? they're too financially secure? or they couldn't find any white kids in the orphanage?) go INSANE and imagine they have a child. Their terrifying behavior of dragging their non-kid to school socials & church events makes them & their town a pariah. THAT I'd watch.

Also, $50 bucks says the kid dies when winter comes. Hankies are wept into & Jennifer Garner is magically preggers next Spring & they decide to name their new Brood "Timothy".
