This is a damn hip-warmachine … the story, the guy chosen for the music, the casting… the Oh-so-subversive casting! This feels so calculated it's hard to believable. I mean, ironically enough, add the grindhouse feel to this trailer and it almost looks like one of these fake trailers a la "She wolf of the SS".

This teaser is a direct knock-off of 1960s, Roger Corman-like releases on American International films, even the bongo-drums . Low-production values of the 1960s has now become stylized as "edgy."

Man, I'm a fan of Bret Easton Ellis – the man and the writer – but what is it about everything on film that's related to him sucking balls? American Psycho was actually not bad, but still pretty tasteless. This looks just as lifeless to me, but it's just a a teaser… (And I threw down $100 for the kickstarter on this)
