So we\’ve got set pieces from \’300\’, set pieces from the \’God of War\’ video game series, including weapons and shots that are basically the same, and some really awful dialogue.

It\’ll make a lot of money.

Here, Cavill delivers some of the worst acting I have ever seen. I am legitimately shocked.

I have been scrambling around for some sort of excuse, because his performance is below the quality of middle school play. Perhaps Cavill is unable to act against a green screen? It is not a skill he ever had to exercise before and not all actors have the ability to adapt to it.

Or, maybe the answer is simpler, and Cavill is simply the worst actor to be featured as a leading man in years?

Part of me likes the way that this basically looks like a feature-length version of the Kanye West \”Power\” video.

The rest of me thinks it looks like total shit.

I think Freida Pinto looks rather ravishing. Aside from everything else, it makes me wonder if Frank Miller, and Zach Snyder get screenwriting or production credits. I hope this is not the best of whats to come from this film.

The sad thing is that if someone told me that this was the trailer for \”301\”, a straight-to-DVD sequel to 300, I\’d have no problem believing it. And while Cavill offers ZERO star quality in this clip, almost nobody comes away from it looking good so I\’m going to hope that he has more to offer that\’s just not shown here.
