I read a draft of the script a while back (by the guys who wrote \”A Sound Of Thunder\”) and it was beyond terrible. I mean, Sy-Fy bad, folks. \”We would not be here if we had not grain!\” Yeah, that was an actual line of dialouge.

The idea that this got made but John Milius\’ King Conan didn\’t is beyond depressing….From Oliver Stone and John Milius to the Sound of Thunder writers. That\’s modern Hollywood for you right there.

Just saw this opens the same day as Fright Night. It will almost certainly grab my 80\’s rehash dollar that week even if I remain uncertain as to how many damn vampires I\’m sposed to give a shit about these days.

Well, I expected it to look much worse… better than, say, Scorpion King.

I had no hopes for this prior to the trailer, but I\’m coming away with a slightly more positive outlook that it could at least deliver a dumb August night out as we wait for better, pec lite Fall fare.
