Can you imagine that happening today? My Latin teacher was only 24, we were his first teaching job, and he was a real film buff. We studied life in ancient Rome, not just the language, so he thought this was a perfect film for us to see, lmao. I wasn\’t scarred by it, so I guess it was ok, although it\’s really not the film for a 16 year old. This was in Southern California, so it\’s probably more understandable than Kansas. Two years later I was going to see Pink Flamingos on the weekends, ah those were the days.
