Great. Another vanity project from an average actor turned director. This movie is stale, dry and unnecessary…just like Chris Evans\’ career outside of Marvel. A director can elevate a script for sure but the fact he chose a bad screenplay to direct in the first place is kind of awful and indicates a lot about his baseline level of taste. It\’s already available on VOD so I gave it a go just out of curiosity but it was like watching a bad version of Before Sunrise or Like Crazy if you removed the charismatic talented actors and clever dialogue. And why was the camera work so shaky and the music used so boring? Alice Eve is insufferable as usual. The story drags from time to time. Bland characters don’t help much either. The cinematography was nice though (thanks to John Guleserian).
