Looks good. Plot seems pretty straight-forward: Max get\’s captured, escapes into the tunnels, creates havoc and in the confusion gets away in a vehicle. gets chased and caught, while at the same time charlize rebels because of bad treatment or something and takes the remarkable diverse virgins with chastity teeth on an escape to another colony of some sort. during the chase to get Max, they let their gaurd down and allow the ladies to escape. while escaping, they run into Max (literally) and rescue him, and he assistes with the shenanigans allowing for an escape, although we will lose some minority virgins along the way. price of freedom, girls… explosions mean riveting, not because of the acting. I\’M IN!

This trailer is like a really hot, stupid girl: you just wish she would stop talking because the talking is ruining everything.They should just market it as crash porn and leave it at that.

Will undoubtedly open huge – my own feeling is that it will exceed the opening performance of "Godzilla", which means this could have a first weekend north of $100 million.

That one sheet looks like a super cheap promo for home video. The franchise deserves better.

A few major misgivings about this:
1. The endless rehashing of familiar properties to squeeze every last dollar out of them is tiresome and symptomatic of Hollywood\’s decline (and the idea of Neil Blomkamp, for example, stepping up to the legacy Ridley Scott and James Cameron is laughable.)
2. Part of what was so appealing about the original two was the gritty, DIY atmosphere and practical stunt-work – but this thing, due to CGI and EFFING OVERZEALOUS COLOR CORRECTION, looks like a cartoon!
3. Hardy is a powerhouse actor, but I don\’t think he has Eastwood-like physical presence and movie star charisma that Gibson had back in the early 80s. He also seems to be playing a more introspective, sentimentalized Max.
