It's interesting that the US version is the only one to reveal Turing's homosexuality, I'm not sure if it's due to it being more well-known in the UK or if there's quiet homophobia. At least they didn't make it look like it was a love story between Knightley and Cumberbatch (their real-life counterparts were engaged briefly, likely to save face).
