Between takes, when he wasn't looking at footage, Ben Stiller came up and talked to everyone watching and seemed like a really nice guy. I'm glad that the movie looks as good as it does.

Somehow you forgot to mention that this story is based on a James Thurber story. Credit where credit is due. He wasn't all that thrilled by Danny Kaye's performance and was disillusioned with Hollywood anyway.
I think that this is more on-track with Thurber's original idea.
