Anne, Eddie and to an extent Seyfried stand out the most. Basically in that order. The rest, not as special from looking at these clips but Crowe is better than I thought based on the feedback.

Eddie Redmayne has the most beautiful voice. Goes so perfectly with the slightly nasal voice (not meant in an insulting way) of Amanda Seyfried.

I think Tom Hooper has excellent taste to choose the scripts, or in this case more like the material, and I guess also the actors (although who wouldnÂ´t choose Anne Hattaway and Hugh Jackman for any musical). But then he also chooses those lenses and forces the audience to get used to them, or he does things like moving the camera slightly to show the pavement when Samantha Banks sings about it, or that in you face shot with the factory workers. I think he proves that a director needs to be wise when choosing material, and that it helps to have you personal style, in order to be awarded, even if that style is so strange.

The cinematography is absolutely hideous. Just like in The King's Speech. All those extremely wide-angle lenses and clueless shaky cam shots. It looks like it doesn't fit the movie at all, just like, you guessed it, in The King's Speech.
