Well, PTA is overrated. Cant understand why you guys dote on him. Most of his movies are static and designed as show-cases for certain actors. BLOOD and DANIEL DAY LEWIS come to mind. You get so bored you run for cover. BOOGIE NIGHTS is the exception. That is a real movie, terrific wherever you look. VICE will be interesting though, being based on a book by a witty stoner.

I told this guy that three months ago an industry friend who'd seen Vice had described it in a similar way, calling it "brilliant and mesmerizing in an atmospheric, non-linear sort of way"as well as "Lebowski-esque" (from Cigs and Red Vines)

So one industry person says this and you parrot it as "the feedback"?? Stoop lower guys. The PTA bias of this site is ridiculous.
