That Brooklyn and The Room both received Best Picture nominations and the truly excellent Creed did not, is quite frankly, ridiculous. The omission clearly speaks to the age and background of the majority of the voting panel. However, once you begin to appreciate the role of Hollywood as a huge propaganda machine, the issue as concerns a lack of representation, inclusiveness and diversity, becomes a lot clearer. As well, you begin to fully appreciate that other factors are attendant in the decision of which movie to garner with acknowledgement, separate from any real objective assessment of a film\'s artistic merit.

This issue will never get better where lack of diversity is unrespected. It\'s not about blacks only but ethnics in general. I don\'t think Jada was referring to blacks but in general. If you make up 100 films in a year for instance and you\'re not recognised then what sort of thing is that? Boycotting is a bad idea as a brown person but at the same time she proves no wrong. This brings more issues.

Thank you!

Whatever is the case 2016 is going backward each year. I\'m not surprised this is issue that keeps to repeat in itself. Nothing seems to work better than worse.
