There's a mistake been made somewhere. That first clip was shown in the version i saw in the cinema when it was released in the UK. It's a pretty big important scene!

I can't see how that could possibly not be in the final version of the film.

The first scene was also in the theatrical version I saw, and not only that, but it seems hard to imagine that it's not in every theatrical cut. Seems far from disposable, that scene…
