Both happened to be legends (Ramis reinvented american comedy with Animal House, National Lampoon, Meatballs, Ghostbusters, Groundhog day, Analyse This, and more). Could it have been that they both were proud Jews who supported Israel and that does not fit in with the politics of the Oscars as exhibited last night in one political rant after another, starting with the open line of the too white Oscars? I wonder.
