If for adults the idea of the film sounds inconceivable then try to think how effective and a shocking way it could have been for children to learn what went on during those years of WW2 no matter how low or high the production values… But perhaps it was better then that it did not materialize as it could have robbed many from the great memories of the other Jerry films as they would have been hit with harsher realities of life….Either way he tried. That already deserves merit. Yes, even failure can have merit.
