One of the more interesting bromances in recent memory belongs to director Nicolas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling. The pair couldn’t stop falling over themselves praising each other through the press runs of the widely acclaimed "Drive" and the divisive "Only God Forgives," and now a new mashup pays tribute to the creative work the pair delivered.
Running ten minutes long, the video compares and contrasts the slick cool of "Drive" and what could be perceived as a rebuke of that cool, the dour and grim "Only God Forgives." A principled man in the former and a tortured soul in the latter, Gosling commands the screen without having to do much, while Refn places his star in one beautifully framed shot after another.
