Padre, you are mistaken. A story of this caliber has only to appeal to its audience by using actors who can actually pull off playing a deity; an emotionally flat individual struggling with the concept of free will and an all knowing father. The story would do better with an original turn of events though, as it stands, Paradise Lost won\'t appeal to many outside of the religious fold. The same pitfall experienced by Arronofsky\'s Noah.

This movie sounded like a terrible idea from the moment it was announced. Guess someone at the studio agrees. It is also cast terribly. Movies about gods, angels or fallen angels/demons, needs some extraordinary beauties in the cast. The actors must be a living special effect themselves. Supernatural beauties to sell the idea of supernatural entities. The collection of actors here are all meh looking. Cast makes no sense for this type of movie.
