I am also tired of hearing that he is everyone\’s #1 choice for an actor. There are other actors that are just as talented as he is and can do this role equally or better than Depp. Johnny Depp is not the greatest or most talented actor alive. Robert Downey Jr. is one of the actors that could do a better job in this role . Grant you he is not into the weird and bizarre like Johnny is – but he could probably do a better job in the part than Depp. Sam Rockwell, is also a fantastic actor that could pull off this role. There are also others that could do a far better job. I would say hire Downey Jr and a really great director to do the film.
Just not Johnny Depp – he is already putting out 3 or more movies a year and that is way to much over exposure. They need to choose someone better for this project.
