Once first debuted at a film festival in July 2006 in Ireland. The Frames’ Cd with Falling Slowly on it came out in Feb 2007 and the Swell season was released Aug 2006. Both well after the original debut of the film.

I didn’t realise other people were moaning about it elsewhere. I wasn’t whining though, I think Falling Slowly is easily the best song in the category. I’d definitely like to see it win, as delightful as the Enchanted songs are. I liked Enchanted too by the way and the songs work great in the film, it just seems overkill to nominate three and makes the Academy look rather old fashioned.
