You may be right. To me, he came off as a bit pretentious and salty (along with Michael Deeley). That could just be his old age though.
The movie may have been long, but I didn’t notice that while watching. It kept me interested the entire time.

Funny thing is when I watched the original blade runner I remember feeling like it was dragging on and wondering when it would be over ..Neither of those thoughts entered my head while watching Blade Runner 2049.
