					<description><![CDATA[I found it a surprisingly dull  overview that covers Altman&#x27;s early bio, then spends 2-4 minutes on each of his films &#038; shows in chronological order. It&#x27;s exactly the kind of by-the-numbers portrait he liked to overturn. 

I literally groaned when it opened with a dictionary-style definition of Altman-esque, and each of the later celebrity attempts to define that word just felt smug and oversimplified. A wasted opportunity by Mann.]]></description>
