He DESERVES a Lifetime achievement Oscar!
I think it would be rather fair to his awesome and great career and to his immense talent, that the Oscar Committee reward him that way. He has been nominated so many times and yet he won only one oscarâ¦

As for legendary theatre directors, Harold Prince, Elia Kazan, Alan Schneider, Peter Hall, and possibly Mike Nichols deserve that appendage more.

May I resort to Wikipedia? \”Estelle Margaret Parsons (born November 20, 1927) is an American theatre, film and television actress and occasional theatrical director.\”

This Oscar Winner for \”Bonnie and Clyde,\” and Oscar nominee for \”Rachel Rachel\” has given numerous solidly memorable performances as an actress in theater and on film. She was also quite fun at times as Roseanne\’s mom on the TV series.

But \”legendary director\”??? Where does that come from? Shouldn\’t we save that attribute for the likes of Orson Welles and Vincente Minnelli and possibly Martin Scorsese?

Pacino\’s turns in those HBO films are not merely \”good\” – they are extraordinary, among his best work (which means among anybody\’s best work).

You\’re severely underestimated how great \”Shouty Al\” can be as well……stop overpraising \”subtlety\” and missing out on imagination.

Also, Jack & Jill may be funny for all you know (talk about cheap shots !).

Sort of looking forward to seeing this film – seems difficult but possibly rewarding.
