But this teaser works best for those that have followed this project on movie sites. I wonder how it would appeal to audiences seeing it without any prior knowledge of the movie. Although opening at every upcoming festival and the press coming with that will be a nice additional marketing boost (free of charge to the studio I guess).

The teaser works well, and the understatement is refreshing. Even that monologue which could potentially be pretty leaden – and may be a bit more so in the film, who knows – works largely because Clooney knows how to sell the line in a way that feels more weary than instructional. He's kind of an underrated actor I think (at least as underrated as an Academy Award winner can be), and if Reitman's involvement doesn't get me anticipating this film as much as all the positive press probably should, Clooney's involvement does.

Music choice likewise is nice. Stately piano that doesn't register as too manipulative. Can we not have a trailer for this please? The teaser works just fine for me.
