If Ruby Dee is in this adaptation then we can talk. Otherwise there is no one else besides Loretta Devine or Irma P. Hall or who can portray the part that Ms. Dee played. It better not be Beyonce.

I think most industry people realize what you're credited for on IMDb, especially as a writer, is not really reflexive of how talented or hot you are. I've read a Kajganich script (probably shouldn't say what, but a big project) and he is definitely talented – and I don't chalk it up to just Stephen King adaptations.

I hope and predict The Stand will be his next project. It's such an exciting prospect if they can nail the material which is one of the best things King has ever written! And I can't wait to see Randall Flagg on the big screen! That character could be as iconic as Hannibal Lecter or The Joker or Anton Chigurgh!

I still don't know what film is Affleck directing after Argo. Is it Tell No One or The Stand ? With writer hired it seems that The Stand will be his next feature…or is it?
