Mackie would be good for MLK but he\’d have to gain a lot of weight, and/or they\’d have to use some kind of make-up or chub suit. I don\’t know the technical names for that stuff.
Other than him, I guess a no-name actor/newcomer would be the best bet.

!!!! This project\’s announcement was some of the best movie news I\’d heard in a loooong time, and now it\’s gone? I\’ve seen some racist sentiments about a white British guy handling an MLK biopic instead of the Lee Daniels indie or Oprah miniseries, and I hope that didn\’t fuel this.

Greengrass is the guy for the job, no question about it. I really hope this can get made the way it should be made. It sucks he kinda shit the bed with Green Zone going so overbudget and having no returns.
