Great!? Did I hear somebody say these novels/moview were great?

Great is defined my literature that endures. Twilight is paperback trash that sparked the voracity of teens and 38-30+ middle aged women. It reminds me of The Titanic movie that got such bolstered ticket prices due to infatuation with DeCaprio.

The movies are lackluster at best.

I applaud your ability to be pleased and impressed by whatever is on the surface only. Good luck in letting that lead your life. Also, remind yourself that women are not supposed to be treated the way our heroine (wait, we need a plot to use that word, sorry!) is in this farce of writing.

Okay, I thought all of the Twilight books were great. Let's get that straightened out, first. I do think that Meyer could be in love with Edward.. Who wouldn't? You grow attacehd to the characters as they develop in the series. There really isn't anything normal about the relationship between Bella and
Edward, but thats what makes it fun. Put into perspective that it IS indeed a FICTIONAL book. If fans are basing their entire lives off of a story that they have read, is it really the creater's fault? Don't think so. The fact that Meyer has introduced us to an insanely unique kind of vampire, is simply amazing. It's her thoughts, if she wants to have the vampires sparkle, then what the hell, let the vampires sparkle. Pattinson shouldn't be trashing the story, this is one of the biggest booms in his career that he has and may ever get. "So to him, I would say suck it up, If you have such negative thoughts, keep your mouth shut. Just stand there and look pretty. It's what you do best."... he is pretty =X! ha regardless... I think that everyone needs to accept thefact that Twilight is huge. Like it or not, its going to be around for a while.

A great love story indeed, promoting controlling, disturbing relationships and the idea that it's okay to nerf your girl's car to stop her going to see her friends, leaving her at random 'because it's all my problem' (obviously), and the idea that being a creepy Mary-Sue dependent upon one's boyfriend for one's mental sanity is all beautiful, wonderful and perfectly normal.

Well, no wonder teenage girls are messed up. (And for goodness' sakes, I'm a teenage girl too! Please don't go on like 'but you don't understand, how could you ever understand us, noober?')

Although I have to say this... now I've seen this, I have so much respect for the guy. When an actor can't bring himself to lie about his own movie, that is truly lol-worthy. While I don't condone the people just flaming Twilight without reason-- it is the fans' choice to read it and scream about it non-stop, and these are all my own views and I ask it of nobody to have to agree-- I still think that it's an overrated novel, an enormously overrated, over-hyped film and that Ms. Meyer might be giving herself a slightly... ah, odd... public image, with this book.

Still, the novel gives me hope, because if Twilight got published, perhaps I'll be a writer too one day. <3

(...Also, Robert Pattinson looks so much cuter in real life as a normal guy than when he's in the film, working the 'Edward Scissorhands makeup' kind of look. Just a side-note. ;D)

Oh thank god he's intelligent. Well, he's smart enough to know the books suck, anyway. I mean, he might think Britney Spears is fantabulous, but he seems like a nice guy.
And he's the same age as me, so I'm wondering if 20 year old English guys are just by nature smarter and more mature than 20 year old American guys.

By the way, the YouTube video of his song appears to no longer be working.

Anyway, the scruffy look isn't too bad on him. He's a pretty sexy guy, and I wish the Twilighters would pay attention to what he says; I mean, sure he's pretty, but he keeps saying that he doesn't understand why they like the books or Edward. When the guy playing the part says he doesn't understand the fandom, maybe the fans should rethink their stance.

That being said, I still prefer Jared Paladecki all the way. ♥
