The fact that this comment came from a buffoon president instead of the public over the years says a lot about the public lol Trump is a moron but he’s right about our cultures violence obsession and puritanical views towards sex. European cinema compared to ours has always showcased this.

Sheesh read the statement. He’s basically talking about the dumbest thing the MPAA has in its rating system. A PG-13 movie can have loads of violence but if they showed boobies, or sex, or blood, or say the fuck word (twice) then it’s rated R. A movie with zero violence but has sex scenes is rated R. Raunchy comedies with bad language are rated R. Yet something like Taken or Die Hard 4 or even Expendables 3 were rated PG-13. That’s the problem. America is so afraid of words and bare skin but violence is no big deal.
