I really enjoyed this and can\’t wait to see it again. Unfortunately, it\’s also definitely flawed. There are a handful of trite and simplistic scenes, and a few overly preachy scenes. But overall, it\’s extremely engrossing, the acting is great, and overall the story is compelling, riveting and (shudder…) thought provoking. I really wish the few hiccups had been edited out – this is so close to being really great. The scenes with Adam\’s (Tim B Nelson) family are by far the best. Glen Close is almost too smooth – her scenes are like watching honey poured onto an English muffin (probably more the writing than her). Jessica Hecht as Adam\’s wife is absolutely wonderful. The different stories seemed to me tied together effortlessly and the movie is engrossing as it moves from story to story at a quick pace. I enjoyed that it tried to cover so much ground – I actually think that was one of the strengths of the movie – but also means that you need to see it twice – you just can\’t keep up with everything (in a good way).

Nice movie, smart and deep not like most of movies now. this movie is asking you to look around and see …. And be thankful for what you have, becouse you do not know for how long you will be able to have it.

I am looking forward to this movie, hopefully on the big screen. The critic grade of B does not necessarily reflect the general consensus anyway. It\’s just his personal/individual opinion. I love the cast and the storyline, so enough said.

Aren\’t you being a little generous with your "B" grade? It sounds like these are scenes that will be used in acting class more than a movie anyone would volunteer to see.
