Couldn't agree with the commenter more and the reviewer less. Saw it at TFF tonight. Sometimes the Q&A makes you want to like a movie more. But these guys just came off as smug and self-congratulatory. The director described it as Enchanted April meets Caddyshack. I would have described it as a very, very poor man's Midsummer's Night Dream (a bunch of people meet in the woods and chaos ensues). But sorry guys, you are no Will Shakespeare. The film lacked heft.

However, I will say this as a redeeming feature. The early scenes when they are writing their script were good. You got the feeling that these two fellows like each other and know their way around movie history.

And Alas, Marisa Tomei, a goddess, was a bit wasted. Too much like so many of her other roles. I don't know what that girl's routine is but she is still unbelievably sexy at 50.

Wow. You saw a lot in this sad, self indulgent little movie. 75 minutes of a bad script, worse acting and simply a miserable experience.
They obviously thought they were clever, so so clever. Two actors writing a screenplay about two actors supposedly writing a screenplay. Complications ensue.
Bad movie. Bad bad bad movie.
