Deadfall is a much better movie than this review has it. I found the direction compelling and the performances superb. It holds your interest, throughout. Spacek and Kristofferson are magnetic and are given poignant lines. Ms. Wilde's acting is surprisingly good as are her sex scenes. Bana is just right as a sympathetic sociopath. Disregard this review. See it for yourself and escape for two hours. Watch it a second time and you dig even more movie pluses. Don't let this one get away.

He was superb in Hanna. Fact.

But you're right in the sense that he deserves better material because he is a quality actor up there with Guy Pearce.
