I've been waiting to see this film since I heard it was being made about 2 years ago. I thought the effects were indeed fantisiful, but not corny. A 14 year old's ideal perception of happiness is bound to look and feel "hobby holly-ish" no? Keep in mind, the trailer is designed to appeal to the "majority" audience, since this story is such a hard sell. I guarantee this film will be the best of the year. I have faith in Peter. After all, he's done some great literary adaptations.

The trailer really underwhelmed me. The special effects are a little on the cornball side, and it's disappointing the studio chose the most generic and overused music for the second half of the trailer when they have Brian Eno's score in the can.
