I was not expecting The Ting Tings’ “Great DJ” to lead off the trailer. That’s a fun song, if a slightly odd choice for this movie’s trailer.

It’s a song you or I don’t know (i think it’s original, i had never heard it before), but the point is not the song: it’s the context of how its used. It’s great. It’s worth the wait and will bring a great smile to your face. It’s not a huge surprise, but it’s a wonderful little moment.

Oh, come on! Spoil the music moment for us please. Also, is the Sigur Ros song (or any for that matter) actually in the movie? It seems they are used extensively in trailers but never actually in the movies...like Paper Planes and Pineapple Express.

Boyle does usually deliver in terms of the soundtracks.
