Well such a video does seem a waste. All that needs to be done is simply to create the Cate Blanchett category oscar, whereby they simply hand her one for whatever project(s) she's got up her sleeve in any given year. This would save her supporters time and money of promotion and perhaps give other actresses an actual hope of winning.

In all actuality though, I don't know who the actress was that won over her at the SAG's, but I'm sure it was wrong. At this point I could really care less...the oscar's failed already in my opinion when they gave her oscar to gwyneth paltrow back in the day (the injustice of this even is only rivaled by the time they gave grace kelly an award of judy garland's deserved portrayal in a Star is Born). Anyhoo, Cate's stint as Bob Dylan was simply mind bogglingly surreal and amazing in my opinion. If they don't give her something for it, I'll never watch the crap show again.
