Yeah, this film was pretty horrible, loud, and pointless. I know Ayers wrote Training Day, but really, how do things like this get greenlit? Ugh. Could have skipped it.

Lilipad, he is not right. This is one of the most touching, believable performances in a long time, and a very good cop film. Despite a few cliches, this movie gets it right and you care very deeply for the characters. This movie, I don't believe, was meant to be "introspective" as he says, its more of a "day in the life" sorta thing.

Wow! I caught this a few days ago and had pretty much the opposite reaction. This is a cop film that, despite the clichÃ©s, really rises above the rest through well-crafted characterization.
