The Playlist sort of lost me over the past couple years with their reviews, but that might be the greatest opening line for a review that I\’ve ever read. It\’s good to see a little bit of hair back on those nuts.

Thank you for clarifying the feminist statement! Judging from Heard\’s previous choices, her idea of a strong female character is one who looks sexy and carries a gun. Sad.

Jumping in here just to clarify what I meant for my breh, Rita. Feminists won\’t be angry with the character because she\’s played by attractive Amber Heard. They\’ll be angry because of what she does, how she acts with the men, and the \’twist\’ in the film. Feminists (like myself, so not all feminists are women etc.) also get angry at female representation on screen, not just off.

So if their are no good roles being developed in Hollywood, why does Self ritious Amber accept the roles offered to her? Perhaps to contradict herself or perhaps that\’s what really drives her to flop her career goals.

To be honest…the reviewer of this film sounds as ridiculous as the film itself. Why do you think feminism is women attacking attractive women? Grow up breh.
If feminists are going to have a problem with something it would be with the lack of decent roles for women, the lack of women behind the scenes in film and why white male screenwriters get so many chances to write garbage.
