Some incredibly terrific films, as usual! Especially "Going Away" ( Beau Dimanche, 2013) directed by Nicole Garcia, and, with a wonderful performance from International star, Dominique Sanda (Bertolucci's "The Conformist" and "1900", Bresson's "Una Femme Douce", John Huston's "The Mackintosh Man"co-starring opposite Paul Newman and James Mason, and many, many more classic's!) opposite a great cast composed by mainly many young great French actors, "The Railway man" with great performances from Kidman and Firth, and, awesome director Roger Mitchel's "Le Weekend", "Young and Beautiful" by Francois Ozon, great director of "Swimming Pool", Pioneer (Pionér), by Erik Skjoldbjærg, also the Best Film winner at last Cannes Film Festival's "Blue is the Warmest Color/Adèle: Chapters 1 & 2", by Abdellatif Kechiche, and, Jim Jarmush's irresistible "Only Lovers Left Alive" with a phenomenal Tilda Swinton, and again, the very discussed, yet always compelling film by Paul Haggis "Third Person" with an amazing cast (James Franco and Kim Basinger, offering 2 stand out, underrated so far, performances!), as well as, "12 Years a Slave" by one of my very favorite new directors, Steve McQueen, and, the formidable thriller with style "The Fifth Estate" by Bill Condon, great film i enjoyed so much, and, thought that even "Joe" by David Gordon Green deserved to be cited, since it made Nic Cage going back to serious acting! And, of course, i loved the Ralph Fiennes' movie, too, "An Invisible Woman".
