I enjoyed this movie. It was not the typical sports movie/coming of age story. Ellen Page is awesome! So is Kristin Wig.

There are other bands in the world. It's "No Alarms and No Suprises" or whatever it's called and it's used in brief scene where Ellen Page and her boyfriend meet or drive home or something like that. It's fine, but unremarkable. And yes, they're not on the soundtrack, but they're considering making a 2nd disc ala Juno.
