Any book is always better than the movie, But if you can no comprehension of what you read than your are lost. That is why the framers of the constitution felt the need to educate the new republic's citizens so they would not fall victim to propaganda from politicians who would like to become the ruling class and dictate how you should live and behave, oh and remember I FROM THE GOVERNMENT I'M HERE TO HELP!

Perhaps the writer's ridicule stems from the fact that you Rand-zombies are so money-centric. You equate everything to money as if that's the only measure of freedom. The premise is laughable, and worst of all these movies are BORING.

To the writer of this article…it is a sad day when a movie about 'the right to pursue happiness.' whether that happiness is in doing nothing or making something of yourself is ridiculed. People need to open up their eyes and take a look around them. Gas prices rise along with every other commodity on the planet, yet the job become more scarce by the day. The world economy is in ruin and we have no one but ourselves to blame. Government does not do social issues well and it never will. Send the politicians back to where they came from and let the people run the country the way our founding fathers intended. Everyone has a right to their intellectual property and should be allowed to prosper because of it. When intelligent people produce and prosper the rest of the world will as well by having jobs to go to everyday. Take pride in taking care of your own needs instead of looking for a handout from everyone. Let the individuals – not the collective – take care of their needy neighbors, but only until they can take care of themselves. Pride in a job well done breeds pride in oneself – self-esteem. Not an evil thing. And it made for an amazing movie that will have a "cult" following for many many years to come.

I love atlas shrugged 1&2 but bring back the cast from the first movie.. for part 3.. this movie is close to home.

Im actually looking forward to the third installment. I found both the 1 & 2 parts enlightening and filled with american values that are easy to relate two. also both left me with a desire to know whats next and a longing to be as successful as the two main characters. Only downfall was the recasting seen in part two. not to say the acting was bad but the after building a connection with the characters in the first film it was sort of a let down.

It'd be fun to see if they entirely recast this part like the second film. Haven't seen either part but at least the first one had great looking leads.
