The final trailer for The Dark Knight also premiered before the first Iron Man in the summer of 08 with the release dates for both films pretty much identical to their sequels this summer. And I think that's why people involved with the films don't mind the overlap because when it comes to the box office, the releases are far enough apart that there won't be any competition. What's more important is that the folks in England will see this trailer this weekend as it opens there a week earlier. Keep a watch out for bootleg copies hitting the web Friday.

Wait, what? Batman is a DC property, and obviously Avengers is Marvel… that's kinda suprising that the rival comic book companies would go for that. I mean it make sense financially, but I still would have expected their rivalry to get in the way.
