As appreciative as I am of Halloween III, I feel like the idea behind it would\'ve been better utilized had it been something they opted to go with from the first film onward. Even at this point in time, the series is recognized for what was at the forefront for the first two films: the Myers family. Anyway, I never said it couldn\'t work, just that it wouldn\'t happen.

But a universe could work though. Not like MCU but do something in the same vein of the third film. Take franchise into what it should have been: an anthology series.

It\'s the same thing with all these horror icons of bygone eras getting the remake treatments - everyone in Hollywood seems to think that they can get the sequel train up and running but audiences aren\'t interested in it like they were decades prior.
