Even at this point in time, the series is recognized for what was at the forefront for the first two films: the Myers family. Anyway, I never said it couldn\’t work, just that it wouldn\’t happen.

A movie universe, cynical as the notion is, is never going to happen though. It\’s the same thing with all these horror icons of bygone eras getting the remake treatments – everyone in Hollywood seems to think that they can get the sequel train up and running but audiences aren\’t interested in it like they were decades prior.
