He really didn\’t understand what it was like to work with someone like Malick. And I bet he never saw his other films prior to that.

It\’s great to read that Desplat, one of my favorite composers, was able to understand what Malick wants and I think he will finally get his Oscar.

I happen to think that choice was brilliant, and it\’s nice to see a composer who also came through that process with respect for Malick.
