Parks & Rec has assembled the best comedy ensemble on television. Every single actor is magnificent, from the smaller parts like Jerry and Donna all the way up to Leslie and, of course, Nick Offerman as the absolutely divine Ron Swanson. If they cast Patricia Clarkson, I have no doubt she will be perfect. This show has surpassed 30 Rock as my favorite comedy.

HUGE Parks and Rec fan here and despite my complete hatred of spoilers concerning the show this bit of casting news is welcomed. I had been hoping for Catherine Keener as Tammy 1 but Patricia Clarkson is a joy in so many varied projects that I think she\’ll be great. She\’ll have to go brunette … Ron does have a type.

Kind of a bland choice for such an exciting show. But I\’m trusting of anything that show does at this point, so I\’m sure it will still be great.
