In a movie everything can be made and done. Even a piece of dutch pillow can kick your ass, let alone Mr. Iko Uwais who really masters martial arts. Do you want to say that Pencak Silat is inferior compared to Kung Fu. You are totally wrong if you think so. Besides, Iko Uwais has more than what it takes to be internationally famous.

Iko Uwais is a master in Pencak Silat, an Indonesian indigenous martial art, not in Tai Chi, Kung Fu, or other Chinese martial arts. Silat is completely different with Kung Fu. In all aspects.

Uwais is good if he uses Pencak Silat, but I bet he'll look miserable if he tries to pretend he's a master of Kung Fu.
