I would add the film Raul Ruiz was working on last year "As Linhas de Torres" now being directed by his wife and long time editor Valeria Sarmiento. The cast includes John Malkovich, Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, Mathieu Amalric among others.

How could you forget about this Indonesian film? I've been drooling at the mouth ever since I saw the first trailer, and from what I hear it will be playing at Sundance this year. Reviews from the Midnight Madness screening last fall were stellar, not a single negative one. People called it an action film game changer a la Hard Boiled or The Matrix. Hopefully it will get a wide US release and hell, I wouldn't even mind an American remake which apparently they are already in discussions for. I saw an interview with the director, Welsh born Gareth Evans, I can already see likenesses to Christopher Nolan. This guy should go places.
