Good choices, Playlist. I used to be a Tatum hater. But after seeing 21 Jump Street, I will actively seek out his work. McConaughey really brought it this year as well.

"Gosling, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney all had excellent, diverse and busy 2011s, and after hours of furious debate, we ended up settling on Michael Fassbender." I assumed the "hours of furious debate" consisted of someone saying "Fassbender, then" and everyone rapturously applauded the suggestion. The staff then spent the next two hours coming up with lists that you could put Fassbender on. Someone else (an intern, perhaps) then offered that maybe Gosling could have bested Fassbender … and then a senior staff member slapped the intern and told him to never return.
