Too many Spielberg movies on your list. Stop kissing Hollywood\'s ass you so called Indie site that supposedly focuses on movie soundtracks. Tell us about the Tintin soundtrack and all the great Indie bands that will be playing over Tintin\'s adventure.
And Your Highness is clearly not a good movie based on the clearly not Funny trailers. As I\'ve said before...He Fell down with Armor on...BBBAAAAAAAHHAAAAAAAAAA!
Fincher\'s Remake with Dragon Retoo is another highly suspect entry...So you guys love it I guess when Hollywood steals foreign films from other countries and remakes them.
You guys aren\'t Indie...You\'re Indy! Indy and the Blog of Doom.

Correction - Brad Pitt was NOT interested in doing The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. SONY wanted Pitt for the movie and he turned it down for a few reasons. First, he would have had to go from shooting Moneyball directly into doing TGWTDT and that wasn\'t possible because of other commitments.

Secondly, Pitt wasn\'t sure when the Moneyball shoot would end. It was scheluded for July 1 to med-September and they wanted to start TGWTDT in early Oct. As it turned out the Moneyball shoot went 2 weeks over schedule and Pitt would have had to back out or delay the film\'s October start.

Third, Pitt and Angelina Jolie don\'t work at the same time so that one of them is always available for their children and they had just negotiated with Graham King\'s GK Films for Jolie to direct a script she\'d written starting in Oct - immediately after Pitt\'s Moneyball shoot was supposed to end.

And last, Sony wanted Pitt to committ to all 3 Blomkvist films and he wasn\'t interested in that. He\'d also planned on filming Cogan\'s Trade in early 2011 and he would have had to work 9 months straight on 3 films. Pitt doesn\'t like packing his schedule that tightly anymore. The studios hate the fact that he and Jolie won\'t work at the same time and that really limits the number of movies they do each year, but it\'s not up to the studios. If it was both Jolie and Pitt would make 2 or 3 movies every year. They both turn down a ton of roles and then it gets written up that they were passed over for someone else when that\'s hardly ever true.

I actually had a little hope when I first discovered your site that it would be different from the standard movie site. I thought that the movie soundtrack angle gave it something potentially fresh. Once I started commenting on your boards, however, I got a lovely reply from your own Ed Davis saying that my comment was retarded, just because I insinuated that Ghostbusters 3 is going to be bad. So if your site calls me retarded, why cant I call you retarded.

Answer...because you can Dish it out, but you cant take it in. Cut the Snarky, Cool, We\'re So Indie BS if you\'re going to turn around and post my e-mail account on your site to get rid of me.

Are you for Free Speech or Not. Clearly Not. Go back to Berlin and burn some books while you\'re at it.

Dude isn\'t 100% wrong, you gotta admit you guys can be pretty snarky sometimes. That being said, I love when you do lists like these, the positive ones. Anyway, I haven\'t heard anything about \"Jeff Who Lives At Home\" for the last few months, I\'m looking forward to the Duplass Bros next \"mainstream\" venture, hope to see a trailer soon.

Dude isn\’t 100% wrong, you gotta admit you guys can be pretty snarky sometimes. That being said, I love when you do lists like these, the positive ones. I can\’t believe you guys spend however many hours compiling list of movies you couldn\’t care less about.

Anyway, I haven\’t heard anything about \”Jeff Who Lives At Home\” for the last few months, I\’m looking forward to the Duplass Bros next \”mainstream\” venture, hope to see a trailer soon.

I talked to Linklater recently. They are planning to launch Bernie at Cannes. Also, the IMDB listing for the film is wrong. According to IMDB it\'s being released by Sony Pictures but they told me that they don\'t haven\'t sold the picture in North America yet. It looks like a fairly commercial title. I\'m sure it will sell before Cannes.

Criticism is fine. We get it every day, but the banner of free speech is an amusing one. Think of this as our property, better yet our public pool. You\'re free to swim in it and yes, we expect some urine in it cause that\'s what kids do, but people wantonly pissing in it? No, sorry.

Also \"dude\" is a troll and has already been bounced once out of here, we shouldn\'t have made the mistake of letting him come back. Many, many websites ban trolls from their site and in fact most of them do comment moderation that prevents them from ever showing up at all. We don\'t do that, but we\'re not about to be at the mercy of someone who\'s just prodding at us all day, sorry.

I also don\'t really understand what the big deal was about showing the guy\'s e-mail address. What, are people going to spam his box with e-mails saying \"dont make fun of dem playlisties\"? No, so who cares? His e-mail address being on this website is less alarming than all of the porn websites and scam artists that already have it, just like they have all of ours.
