I think Arthur Newman, Golf Pro will be at the festival in some capacity. Screening out of competition I would guess. The British paper "The Berwick Advertiser" had an article recently about Colin Firth being in town doing research for The Railway Man. The article mentioned that production had been pushed back on that film a few weeks so that Firth and Kidman would be available for Cannes. I have no idea how reliable that is. Assuming it's based off something factual, Kidman has both Stoker and The Paperboy which could bow but Firth really only has Arthur Newman… interesting speculation. I know little about the movie, so am indifferrent. Thought it would be worth mentioning.

I have no idea why anyone would think that Warner Brothers and Christopher Nolan would actually screen The Dark Knight Rises at Cannes if they won't even do it at Comic-Con to the Batnerds/comic book geeks who will more likely drool over it.

I'm really hoping that Terrence Malick's film is finished, though. That would be unbelievable to have two years of Malick in a row.
