He\’d better be careful. in all seriousness, though: Probably the only one on here that I think would benefit from this kind of treatment is "Gremlins." I don\’t really know why a Gremlins 3 doesn\’t exist. Also, 9 to 5? I mean, I like 9 to 5 but sequels to comedies that came out in the in the \’90s and 2000s aren\’t doing that well at the theatre (maybe with the exception of "anchorman 2?") so a sequel to a comedy that came out from the eighties (that isn\’t ghostbusters or back to the future which have enough popcorny genre elements to sort of get at that undying mass demand one associates with comic fanboys) that I honestly had never heard of until 3 years ago probably wouldn\’t fare much better. Just my opinion.

The only one of these that moves the needle for me would be Fletch. Although at this point it would probably be better as an FX series that hewed more closely to the books.
