I would tend to agree that the Razzies have lost their luster, but they were the first, and when they put out the list, it gets reported on. Maybe they should televise it?
Also, it seems to me that they go for popular-bad movies, like they don\’t watch EVERY movie and go from there.
But I guess poking fun at popular films is kind of the point.

The Razzies tend to have one movie that wins most of the categories in any given year, which does make them less interesting than they should be. Granted, the Oscars are less fun when one film sweeps them too, but they have more categories and it seems to happen every year for the Razzies. A rule that a movie can only be nominated in two categories would help immensely.

Is anyone else totally bored with the razzies? They were pretty funny when I was a kid, but now there\’s a trillion lists and blog posts about awful movies, so once this show comes around, all I can think is, \”Yeah, we know.\” For some reason, despite all of the lists about BEST movies of the year, I\’m still inclined to catch the Oscars, but the Razzie results are pretty boring to read.
