Wow, those are really terrible noms.

I know they\’re dying to have J. Depp in the audience, but c\’mon!

The only REAL surprise for me (and a personal fave of 2010) is Olivier Assaya\’s Carlos getting some love in the mini-series and tv performance categories. (What, no Director category for TV / mini-series??)

The insufferable Temple Grandin will probably get the win.

Wouldn\’t expect less from a group of people who nominate Dame Judi Dench alongside Dame Jennifer Love Hewitt.

In foreign films: No Dogtooth? Uncle Bonmee? White Material? Undertow?

Did True Grit get the shaft becuase they didn\’t send screeners on time?

There\’s no documentary category?

So many questions… head hurting…

They should\’ve included Pilgrim and The Other Guys. I would\’ve even been ok with Due Date and/or Hot Tub Time Machine being on there. There\’s no excuses, they had plenty of options to choose from and they went with some shitty nominations (except for The Kids Are All Right).

Couldn\’t they have at least nominated Toy Story 3 in the comedy category to make it seem like there\’s actually competition? They could have included Scott Pilgrim too.

Wow! They should really just do away with the seperation of Drama from Musical/Comedy (but of course they won\’t because it\’s what seperates them from the Oscars) after seeing these noms. Even the acting noms for those categories are as horrendous as the nominated films save for the females in The Kids Are Alright. The Tourist is now a three time Golden Glode nominee, thanks HFPA.
